Birth Detroit's Black midwives, doulas, and birth workers are reclaiming and re-centering Black birthing wisdom and practices, honoring and growing Detroit's spirit of care and community.

Our video collaboration was filled with learning and joy, as Jason Walker and I worked together with the whole Birth Detroit team to create a glimpse of their collective voice, work, and impact.
